My Two Cents On The Pacquiao / Bradley Fight

I didn’t get the chance to post this yesterday so I’m doing it now. This is actually my first time to blog about boxing, but what the hell, I need to get this out of my head — for what its worth.

If you’re a fan of boxing, then you probably know Manny Pacquiao lost the fight to Bradley. I couldn’t see how, I mean, I watched it live with my friends and clearly, Pacman whipped Bradley’s ass! It was Pacman’s first loss since 2005.

Bradley goes away with the belt and yes, he remains undefeated. It was a sad moment, really. I was rooting for Pacquiao not just because he is a Filipino like myself but mainly because he is a great boxer and he’s got the heart of a fighter. Anyway, I still give credit to Pacman. After all, he’s one of the world’s greatest boxers ever.

It’s true that he did not deserve to lose yesterday but do you remember his fight with Marquez? Let’s look back for a sec, truth is, that fight wasn’t fair either. Pacquiao didn’t deserve that victory, Marquez owned that fight. I guess it all boils down to one thing, money. The rematch of Pacquiao and Bradley will guarantee a hell lot of moolah, that’s for sure.

Where did honesty and respect go? Sadly, money runs everything now. Boxing is starting to lose its honor.

Oh okay, enough about boxing. Let’s Just end it here.
