Fifty Shades Of Grey Trilogy: Twilight Fan Fiction Meets Porn

I am honestly annoyed by the fact that I wasted my time reading this fucked up trilogy. excuse the language

I really don’t care if it’s a bestseller. The truth is, it bored the hell out of me — but since I have this habit of finishing every book I read, I endured the bad writing. Boy! t’was tough going through the annoyingly repetitive words. The book is basically a Twilight fan fiction with soft porn in between.

Fifty Shades is an easy read  but the redundant writing is too much to take. “crap” “double crap” “holy crap” were soooo OVER USED in the trilogy. Sheesh! There are other words, ye’ know!
Also, the sex scenes were poorly written. REALLY!

There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. That is all. —Oscar Wilde (The Picture of Dorian Gray)

I’m sorry, but there are far more better erotic writers in tumblr and wordpress.
P.S.
You should read this. I swear, it’s a lot more entertaining than the book itself. My exact thoughts slash sentiment. Enjoy! 🙂

    1. Oh my Celest, for a BDSM book, the writing is bad. Boring and annoyingly repetitive. The book is an easy read, that’s all. I can send you an ebook if you want to endure the redundant writing.

  1. Holy cow! My inner goddess has just done flip flops across the floor after reading this post! Now I’m going to stick a permanent gag on the inner goddess and pretend it never happened. I only made it through the first book and that was a struggle. Pure mince. 🙂

  2. When books become highly-celebrated I tend to give them a brush-off, as in FSHOG’s case. I like reading the different reactions to it, though. And I might have not read about it but I can attest to the last sentence you wrote. 😛
