I Will Not Let This Blog Die

I may not be able to post as often as I want to but I’ll make sure that this blog lives. I will not let it die by ignoring it completely.

Ironic as it may sound, working as a full time SEO and content writer actually made me tired of updating my blog regularly. Not that I’m tired of blogging, it’s just that writing 4000 words a day leaves me completely exhausted. It’s like losing all my energy. Jeez! I barely have time to answer personal emails.

I will not let the thought of “laziness” over power me. I will keep posting even if I’m all tired and weary because I believe in the power of the written word. or typed. lol πŸ˜€ So, yes! I will not let this blog die.

To all my friends in the blogging world, just keep writing and posting stuff. I may not be able to read your works everyday but I sure will visit your blogs from time to time. I’d love to know what you guys are up to and of course, I want to read your poetry because they inspire me.

With that said, I now rest my case. Happy blogging everyone!

  1. The advent of the blog somehow commercialized writing, I for one “explored” the idea of making money out of my works but somehow, it just doesn’t suit my principles (and ego).
Before the internet, an article in the dailies/journals/magazines takes a long time to be conceptualized. The passion has to be there. Or else, the readers will find any written article empty and forced.

We are not obliged to write for anyone’s consumption Sean. And if it’s written with quality and passion, we can always reread and enjoy your past works anytime. Cheers!

    1. Right, right. That’s why I’m not forcing myself to write just for the sake of writing. (in my blog’s case that is.) πŸ˜€ As for my job, I need to wring my brains out just to finish writing the needed articles for the given topics. I have no choice, that’s what I’m paid to do.

I can’t write good stuff as often as I want to because I don’t have enough time to think and do some brainstorming. Work and Law School consumes most of my time.

BTW, s’good to see you here! Thanks for dropping by.

  2. 4,000 words is a lot even for a full-time writer. you’re putting too much pressure on yourself. you don’t need to post every day. and you don’t need to apologize or tell people that you think you should blog more often. sometimes, the more someone blogs – the lesser quality of their writing.

            1. My amazing boss just gave me a day off πŸ˜€ I’m still blog-hopping. I can’t sleep at this hour anyway, something’s terribly wrong with my body clock. Go, sleep!
