THE SASSY WRITER

SEAN GILSIE JIMENEZTwenty-something and more. Philippines.

Constantly torn between catching mythical creatures and letting anxiety take over my life.

Just another literary vagabond consumed by wanderlust.

Just another country girl with a free spirit, a wild heart and a gypsy soul, living life the unconventional way.

These inkblots are my thoughts, and the product of my imagination – some are raw while others are fabricated.

This is reality with a touch of fiction.

You may choose to linger for a while, or you may go as you please.

Toodles love!

  1. Thanks for the visit and the comments Sassy.
You write well, keep up the passion. Good luck on your studies =)
(please don’t succumb to corruption when you become a lawyer soon)

Inspiration may come and go, but as long as you keep the passion for something burning, you will find THAT drive and create your own inspiration. Cheers!

  2. I read your Tumblr page. You are a passionate romantic. We are both Drama Queens in our own lights and rights. I am a lot older than you, and somewhere along the path I found my own true love. We have been in each others arms for years. I wish the most of the best of happiness for you.
What a joy it was to wake up this morning, and find you been by for a nice long visit!- Resa xo

    1. Aww, Drama Queens! 😀 I’m glad you found your soulmate and that you are in ultimate bliss now.

I have been really busy juggling law school, writing, teaching and taking care of my business that I barely have time to blog. I’m glad you sent me the link, now it’s bookmarked! I keep a list of my favorite blogs so it would be easier to check on them every once in a while — and just so you know, you are one of my favorite people in the blogging world.

I had a great time reading your posts by the way, I may have been late but what the hell, better late than never! hihih 😉

  3. Hi Sassy,

Thanks for following and I will do the same! I wish you all the best in finishing up with your law degree; very commendable! My daughter is in her 2nd year of college, then will transfer. It’s an exciting time with nothing but the future for you to grab hold of! I also hope you enjoy your visits, too! Lauren 🙂

  5. Very happy to find a senior law student enjoyed ‘A Lawyer’s Lament’. I don’t know about the US but, having dealt with lawyers in Andalucia in Spain, it’s not so far from the truth.

The character is based on an actual lawyer I had to get rid of. My experiences were not so far removed, but not nearly as comic, as I make Juani’s appear in the tale.

There are a couple more stories in the series on my blog. You might like to look at http://bryanhemming.wordpress.com/old-miguel-and-the-circus/‘. And ‘Juicy Red Tomatoes’.

Looking forward to dropping into you blog form time to time, and hope you do well in your future fight for justice.

  6. Hi Sassy! Thanks so much for liking my post and for following my blog. I always love knowing when folks have stopped by so I can say, “Hi!”

I do hope you never stop writing because it is such a part of who you are. I don’t know if writing comes to others the same way, but I know when I have a message to share it will bug the life out of me until it is written! 🙂

  7. Sassy, thank you very much for following my blog. I usually don’t just follow someone else’s blog because they follow mine but I did enjoy my stay here and even though you have only been blogging for a few months, I sure hope you continue.
